David Dean and the IGSA put on the 8th Gravity race in Bainbridge Ohio. Now called the Demons of Downhill, it's the only World Cup race held in the USA.
The weather held out as we had no rain but it was cloudy and cold for all but qualifying on Saturday.
No major injuries and only one minor one as far as I know - that's a good weekend when you can say that.
Of course the race was held the same weekend as the Festival of Leaves which brought thousands of tourists to town (some even wandered up the hill to see us!).
Riders from all over the US (Washington, California, Ohio, NY, NJ, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Florida), Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and Germany showed up to compete for those elusive World Cup points.
