Hey racers,
I just met with Domingo, manager of the Bayside Travelodge, about the rooms for the race May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. He told me he has 15 double rooms at $86.00, dozens of single rooms at $65.00, and 2 larger "Family Rooms" with 3 big beds-4 people @$89.00, not bad, eh?.

This is one of your fancier Travelodges with sauna and indoor pool, each cottage has parking in front of it, there's a halfway decent cafe in front, and the damn thing's 5 minutes from the pit area at the racecourse- if you drive slow!
It's 10 minutes from the airport to the Park or the hotel. Link to Hotel

A few of you could arrange to camp in the pit if you have an RV, SHHH!! don't tell anyone and contact me first if you plan to do this- (you will be our "night security strikeforce", armed with empty Jägermeister bottles and bad attitudes).
The field will be large for this race, so reserve your accomodations now!

Working out the language of the entry forms and such to reflect all the recent changes regarding streetluge. I'm lining up sponsors and preparing the park for the race.

The bottom line is that you won't want to miss this race, the Gravity Festival is blowing up beyond all expectations and those who support the event by showing up to race will be rewarded with a real blast of a weekend. Riders were getting 5 or 6 practice runs EACH HOUR at last years event. Free food, trackside sports massage for athletes, $54.00 rooms with parking in front of your door FIVE minutes from the start line, a wild party on the beach, help me my head is spinnin'!
